Hello dudes,
I got to the final of Mr Bens New Comedian competition in Leeds, rightfully didn't win.. My chum Masai Graham was 2nd though, that was chuffing mint..
ManillaRoad's final gig of 2012 is on Thursday 6th December & we have a great lineup of - Mark Cram, Mike O'Callaghan, Hannah Silvester, Gareth & Kiruna, Rob Coleman, Brendan Higgins (one of my favourite acts on the circuit) and to close we've a very SPECIAL GUEST headliner..
This is what some have to say about him..
“A 100mph whirlwind….Brilliant”
“…an engaging performer with a well-developed instinct for funny.”
“could be unstoppable”
“Fantastic…He has it in him to be another Kitson or Noble.”
As per, its FREE.. Doors open 2000hrs
See you's there x

First up, Hello.
Man alive there's loads.
After the Roadhouse gig (17th July) I'll have done 25 as a Stand Up, the quarter century mark. Some acheivement for a berk really so thanks to everyone who's supported. On the back of one of them, I've been booked for my first paid gig (28th December) so absolutely thrilled.
ManillaRoad will be back on 2nd August with their FREE comedy night @The Victoria, John Bright Street, B1 1BN.
August lineup is - Lovdev Barpaga, Jonathan Hipkiss, Janie Huxx, Graham Milton, Paul Crooke, Karen Bayley & Andy White. Rather splendid...
Finally...
Although on hiatus from theatre, I SHALL be doing a little show as part of Birmingham's annual ArtsFest this year with the brilliant Letters to Eric theatre company. The show is called 'Us & Them' and you can see it at the Crescent Theatre studio on 8th September.
See you soon,
Jim

What am I doing???
So...
Whats been happening???
Well I was part of a charity gig in early April with a lineup of Ryan Gough, Gary Delaney, Karen Bayley, Steve Day & Andy White.
I went on second, following Gary Delaney and held my own (insert pun here), which I'm very proud of considering it was only my 11th or 12th gig.
ManillaRoad has some wheels, we're starting our own comedy night at Bluu Bar, Birmingham. Thats on the first Thursday of every month.
We also have our own Edinburgh Fringe show at Dropkick Murphy's between 19th-25th August.
Although it's only the middle of April, I've now been turned down for more acting jobs this year alone, than in the first two as a professional. What I'm trying to say is........ I'm available!
In the coming days, I'll post a lineup for ManillaRoad's opening night, its gonna be very, VERY good.
Cheerio for now chaps and chapsees
