This coming Saturday I'm part of a showcase of stand up comedy at the MAC Birmingham. Gig starts at 1930hrs if your looking for summat to do.

Nice one

Thursday

Dull Thursday

Well, not really dull. Just re-editing the routine for our showcase on 3rd December.

Last night, watched Andy Robinson perfom at Fat Penguin Comedy (www.fatpenguincomedy.co.uk) in Moseley, Brummagem. Quality night, some real talent around the Midlands.

This Friday & Saturday (25th & 26th) will be our final two shows of the Importance of Being Earnest tour. I won't be doing anymore theatre for around 12 months to concentrate on writing more so, if you are around and fancy a good laugh (that I promise), Friday we'll be at the Norbury Theatre, Droitwich and Saturday in the Attic Theatre, Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Cheers dudes.

Stand Up, Stand Up

So,

Last night done my very first stand up gig at the Holly Bush in Cradley Heath. Superb comic Isaac Lee was the compere. It went well, got some laughs (always a bonus when doing comedy). Now I can let you's know about the future ones.

See you in Birmingham this weekend for the Importance of Being Earnest.

Hello!!!

So, start rehearsing the Imortance of Being Earnest next week for the November tour.
About half-way through which is a decent pace right now. Another short film has been lined up with 'Our Little Voice', should start that very soon and an audition this weekend for a feature.

In other news, really enjoyed todays twitter trending of #horrorsitcoms, brilliant.

Normal Service Resumed...

After turning the moblie off for a week to catch up on writing projects, neglected by the recent hectic schedule, normal service has resumed (its back on).

So, whats happening then?
Well, firstly, a meeting with Stourbridge based film company Our Little Voice has resulted in postives for ManillaRoad as we'll be writing for their latest idea/sketch show.

Done

Done, just Gordon Ramsay says. Julie M is completed, got a busy week of writing, meetings and tidying my room ahead before learning the next project, 'The Importance of being Earnest'. More details to follow that in the coming fortnight. Thankyou to everyone who came and supported me.

Also a special thanks to everyone who turned up for 'Out of the Flying Pan' at Birmingham's annual ArtsFest, for those of you who managed to get in, glad you enjoyed it, for those who didn't, there's plenty more on the horizon.

Cheerio for now x

Thursday

First post indeed. After having a final rehearsal cancelled due to the lead actress being ill & being locked out of the venue, tonight will consist of beer, wine, food & writing/storyboarding a mockumentary with ManillaRoad.
